Prepositions include words such as above, around, between, for, into, on, toward, until, and without. Pronouns and nouns accompany prepositions to form prepositional phrases.

• Use the dictionary if you have questions about conjugating irregular verbs and pluralizing irregular nouns.
• Choose a pronoun based on the antecedent’s number and gender, and the pronoun’s function in the sentence. Make sure the pronoun clearly refers to an antecedent.
