“I chose American Board because it was the only way I could successfully transition from active military service to teaching as a highly qualified educator. I was able to complete my certification on my own schedule, and it has allowed me to continue serving my community in a classroom setting. American Board’s certification process, as well as their clinical experience program, prepared me for success.”

What is American Board’s Clinical Experience?
American Board’s Clinical Experience is a year-long program where new teachers are monitored and evaluated to provide feedback on their teaching skills and style while helping them adjust to leading the classroom. The clinical experience requires the individual to be the teacher of record.

Are American Board’s Clinical Experience and North Dakota’s RISE approved mentor program the same thing?
